IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Beware of scammers!

Dear module and template customers!

We want to warn you about a new fraudulent scheme targeting online store owners. Scammers send emails from fake addresses that look similar to the official emails of module and template authors, asking to pay for extending the trial period.

How the scheme works:

• The email claims that the trial period of your module or template is allegedly about to expire.
• You are asked to follow a link to pay for the extension or activation.
• The link leads to third-party services, such as Yandex.Money, and the funds go to the scammers' accounts.

Do not fall for the tricks and do not make any payments!

How to protect yourself:

1. Check the sender. Scammers often disguise their addresses to look authentic, e.g., livopencart@yandex.ru instead of help@liveopencart.ru.
2. Do not click on links from suspicious emails.
3. Contact the author directly. Confirm the status of your license with the module or template developer through official communication channels.
4. Consult us. If in doubt, contact our support team to verify the information.

Example of a fraudulent email:

• Subject: "Your trial period is expiring. Renewal payment required."
• Content:

  Dear user,

  The trial period for your module expires in 3 days. To continue using it, please pay for the license now.

  Payment link: yoomoney.ru/bill/link
