Often there is a need to automatically assign a specific buyer group to registered buyers on the site.
Using this module, you can select a buyer group in the administrative part, which will be assigned to the buyer after registering on the site.
Module installation:
1.Go to Extensions -> Install extensions
2. Select and install archive: customer-group-auto-v-shkov.ocmod.zip
3. Go to modifiers and update modifiers (blue button)
4. Go to System -> Settings -> Options
5. Select a group of buyers that will be automaticallyassigned after the buyer registers on the site.
IMPORTANT!
For the module to work correctly, for the buyer group that will be assigned after the buyer registers, you must select: Confirmation of new buyers: “No”
After these steps, the module will work correctly and automatically assign the selected group to the buyer!
