Automatic update of exchange rates from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus

A large number of online stores in the Republic of Belarus need to correctly display information about the cost of goods on the website in different currencies.

There is no built-in solution for correctly displaying the cost of goods at the rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus in the engine itself, and manually updating the rate for each currency every day is not convenient, this is exactly what the module was developed for
"Automatic update of exchange rates from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus"

This module allows you to automatically update exchange rates from the official website of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (nbrb.by).

Uses the standard functionality of updating courses once a day when you first enter the main page of the administrative panelwebsite, manually updating rates from the list of currencies.

Getting started:
1. Add-ons > Install add-on
2. Download nbrb_autoupdate.ocmod.zip
3. Update modifiers
4. Go to Extensions > Exchange Rates



5. Activate "National Bank of the Republic of Belarus"
6. In the extension settings, set the status to "Enabled"
7. Go to System > Settings > Localization
8. Enable automatic updating of exchange rates and select the source of exchange rates "National Bank of the Republic of Belarus"
For correct operation, you must select the main currency "Belarusian ruble"

9. System > Localization > Currencies
Add the currency you need, rates will be updated automatically using the standard OpenCart functionality!



This module does not replace system files and does not require vqmod.

Currencies are recognized by code, check that the created currencies have the correct code.
