Brands by category

The module "Brands by category" helps to structure the catalog of manufacturers and make the search for brands more understandable for customers. When you select a category, only brands that actually have products in that category are displayed, excluding empty listings.

Installation instructions:

• Install the art_category_brands.ocmod.zip archive via the standard add-on manager;
• Update the OCMOD cache;
• Then go to extensions->modules and find "A-Brands by categories" activate it;
  
• Go to the module settings and enable the module;
• Go to design->layouts, select the manufacturer page layout and add the module to the left or right column;

Plans:

• Create CNC for pages;
• Generate meta data for selected categories;
• Go to the manufacturer’s page with already filtered products by category;

Each copy of the module affects 1 domain and its subdomain.
