Redirect & Loop Monitor | Redirect Monitor

Redirect & Loop Monitor is a module for OpenCart 3.x designed to monitor redirects, log HTTP redirects and detect cyclic redirect loops.
Incorrect redirects can lead to:

• error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
• URL looping
• loss of positions in search results
• deterioration of site indexing
• increased page loading time
• problems with crawling

The module detects 301 and 302 redirects, tracks redirect chains and helps to quickly identify problematic URLs.
This is especially important after changes to the SEO structure, implementationCNC, domain change or installation of third-party modules.


The module automatically distinguishes real users from search robots and AI bots:

• Ignores search bots (Google, Bing, Yahoo, Baidu)
• Recognizes AI crawlers (OpenAI, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Bard)
• Weeds out social bots (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
• Takes into account only the behavior of real site visitors

Thanks to this, the redirect statistics remain clean, and the logs are not clogged with thousands of requests from bots every time the site is updated.

Redirects made through javascript are not recorded by the module!

Installation instructions:

• Open the system/framework.php file on the hosting where the site is located;
• Replace the line in that file with $response = new Response(); on $response = new Response($registry);  
• Install the art_redirect_monitor_3.x.ocmod.zip archive via the standard add-on manager;
• Update OCMOD cache;
• Then go to extensions->modules and find "A-Redirect Monitor" activate it;
• Go to the module settings and turn on. his;
