Cumulative discounts free version

The discount grows based on the amount of the buyer’s past orders. The cart shows progress to the next level, a letter informs about a promotion, a report in the admin panel shows who has what discount.


Why is it needed

It is cheaper to retain a customer than to bring a new one. A cumulative discount gives a clear reason to return to you: each order brings you closer to the next level, and it’s a pity to lose the achieved level.

You set a table of thresholds - “from 10,000 there is a 3% discount, from 30,000 - 5%” - then the module does the calculations itself: it summarizes the buyer’s past orders, determines the level and applies the discount in the cart and when placing an order.

In the free version, two levels are specified in the table. Everything else works without restrictions - this is a full-fledged module, not a demo.How the discount is calculated

• Summarizes buyer orders in the statuses you select - for example, only completed ones.
• You can choose from: by the total amount of orders (with delivery, etc.) or by the total of goods.
• Limitation window: consider orders only for the last N days. The discount expires if you don’t buy it - and the buyer sees in the account the date by which the order must be made in order to save it.
• Initial balance in the customer’s card - to take into account purchases made before installing the module, or to give a regular customer a level in advance.
• Option “add the amount of goods in the cart” - the current cart also brings the next level closer.
• Threeaccrual method: from the subtotal of the order, from goods without promotions and discounts, from all goods in the cart.
• Different thresholds for different groups of buyers. Each level can have its own name.

The buyer sees his discount and wants the next one

• Panel in the cart: current discount, purchase amount and progress bar “1,500 rubles left until 5% discount.” Enabled by one setting.
• For guests the cart shows “regular customers - up to N% discount” with a link to login: a reason to register and not abandon the cart.
• Page in your personal account: accumulated amount,table of levels, progress and - with the limitation window turned on - the date by which the order is needed so that the discount does not expire.
• Letter when the level increases: the order has been confirmed, the level has increased - the buyer receives congratulations on the new discount.
• Block module with a table of levels - in any position of the layout.

Fine tuning for your catalog

• Exception categories and exclusion manufacturers: no cumulative discount is awarded for these products.
• Minimum cart amount to apply the discount.
• Discount only for selected groups of buyers.
• Coupons andbonus points - three modes: sum with a discount, do not apply a discount with a coupon, or apply the larger discount.

Report for administrator

On the settings page there is a “Report” button: all customers with savings, their amounts and current discount levels, with links to cards. With one click, it can be exported to CSV for Excel.


What is the difference between the full version

• Discount levels without restrictions. In the free version there are two of them: as many steps as you like and separate stairs for groups of buyers - in the full version.

There are no other differences. Calculation, panel in the basket, personal account, letters, report with upload, limitation window, initial balance and exceptionswork the same in both versions.

The full version is installed on top of the free regular archive download - these are the same files, the same settings and the same data. There is no need to remove the module; the accumulated amounts and configured levels remain in place.
