Estimate for the buyer

Collect estimates directly on the website and generate a finished PDF document* without using a shopping cart or placing an order.

This module allows you to select the required products from the catalog, specify the quantity, and receive a detailed cost estimate. The completed estimate can be saved as a PDF* or printed and given to the customer.

Why do you need this module?

Not every customer comes to an online store to place an order immediately. This is especially true when they need to select a large number of products, calculate the order details, or get a preliminary total cost.

Instead of manually entering items or adding them to a standard shopping cart, the customer or manager can open the estimate page, select the required items, and immediately receive a completed estimate.

This module eliminates the need for a standard shopping cart.BBCODE_3__—the estimate works regardless of whether the order is placed.

How does it work?

1. Open the"Estimate" page.
2. Select the desired category or search for a product by name.
3. Enter the required quantity.
4. Click"Add to Estimate".
5. Added products will appear in the list on the right.
6. Change the quantity if necessary and click"Update".
7. Select an estimatewith or without discount.
8. Click"Print PDF"and save the finished estimate.

If an item has a promotional price, when calculating[b]with discount, the estimate displays both the regular and promotional prices. For items without a promotion, only the regular price is shown.

Installation instructions:

• Install the art_estimate_3.x.ocmod archive using the standard add-on manager;
• Then go to Extensions -> Modules and find "A-Estimate for Buyers" and activate it;
• Go to the module settings, configure it, and save it;
