Sorting products in categories

The module allows you to configure the sorting of goods within each category.
The standard sorting is the same for a product regardless of category, but in some cases the same product in one category should be placed at the beginning, and in another category at the end.
Thus, this module will allow you to place important products in each category on the first page so that users see them earlier.


Features:

• Indicate the sorting of one product in different categories when editing it
• Indicate the sorting of all products of any category when editing it in a special module interface
• Search/filtering of goods in the module interface by Name, Code (model), Article,Manufacturer, Status, In-stock status
• Quick inclusion/disabling of goods and change of in-stock status
• Output of goods first with a non-zero sort order, i.e. all products for which sorting is not set (0 remains) will be displayed later

Installation:
1. Log into the administrative panel of your online store.
2. On the Modules/Extensions tab, selectInstalling extensions.
3. Click the Download button and select the archive sort_in_category.ocmod.zip.
4. Go to the Modules/Extensions - Modules/Extensions tab.
5. In the drop-down list, select the extension type - Modules.
6. In the list of modules, find [AppDevStudio] Sorting in categories and activate the module.
7. Click on the Edit button opposite [AppDevStudio] Sorting in categories and fill in the sorting of products.

As a recommendation:
It is better to enter numbers in the sorting in multiples of tens, i.e. not 1,2,3... but 10,20,30... so that you have the opportunity to then insert some other products between those that have already been sorted, without reassigning the sort order to all subsequent products.
Those. if you want to insert some product into second place, thenAll he needs to do is specify the sort order = 15 and it will be displayed between the 10th and 20th.

The module does not replace standard files.
