Default image for products (no-image placeholder)

The module automatically substitutes the selected image for all products that do not have an image. Works in all key areas of the store, including third-party themes and modules.

Installation

1. Go to section Add-ons → Install add-ons.
2. Download the file module.
3. Open the section Add-ons → Modifications.
4. Click the button "Update" (blue circular arrow).
5. Clear cache of templates/themes (gear icon in the top admin panel).

Settings

1. Go to: System → Settings → Your store → Images.
2. Find parameter:“Default picture for products”.
3. Select an image to be used as a no-image.
4. Save the store settings.

After saving the settings, all products without an image will automatically display the selected default picture in all places of the store. Removing the module

1. Go to the section Additions → Modifications.
2. Find the modification of the module and delete her.
3. Click the "Update" button to rebuild the modifications.
4. Clear the template/theme cache.
